9 games left, 2 games in hand and 2 points away from the final wildcard spot. That is where the Wranglers sit after a great week of hockey.

Calgary is chasing the Vancouver Wolves for the final spot and with 2 games in hand the team is committed to making sure they do what they can do win the last few games. The morale is currently very high as the team beat the top team in the league Warsaw by a score of 5-4 and also they beat the top NA team Toronto by a score of 6-1 in the last 2 games.

“We have been playing extremely well over the last week, we are getting much needed wins and pushing for that final wildcard spot” Said Tom Eagles “ I think the acquisition of Phil has had a big impact on the team as he has been contributing very well since he came here and everyone else on the team has been chipping in and playing to a higher standard”

Looking at both schedules it does look like Vancouver has the tougher remaining schedule which gives the Calgary players and fans hope that they can leap frog Vancouver.

Calgary were not expected to be playoff contenders this season but with the recent surge in wins they are looking like a team that can not only make it to the wildcard round but also looking like a team that could potentially go all the way if they keep their play up.

The team has been getting outstanding goaltending from Askarov over the last little while and he has been a big part of keeping Calgary in games where they had no business winning. The defensive core has also been chipping in and helping the offense out while also trying to limit the amount of shots that Askarov is facing.

The offense has been led by Thornton (65 points), Perry (64 points) and Juniper (with 58 points). The other forwards have also been contributing at key moments in games.

If Calgary continues playing as they have been, then they will be a shoe in. The only thing standing in their way is themselves. If the team collapses and goes on a losing streak, that could spell trouble for the young teams hopes. They have to keep mentally strong while at the same time playing to all their capabilities.

The teams fans have been strongly behind the team, showing up in full force rallies to help motivate the team. The fans want playoff hockey and will do anything they can to try and make sure the Wranglers make it.

“ The fans have been great and they have been a big part of why we are doing what we can to give them some playoff hockey “ Tom says “ They have been with us through the up’s and down’s this season and we want to reward them for the faith in this team. Were all still pretty young and it’s just great to see the support we are getting as a team and as players”

Easy to read, with spacing that makes my dyslexic eyes happy. I can tell you're excited for your team to potentially make the playoffs in this article and t's really nice to see that in the league. Overall the article is good and touches on some player numbers which is always a bonus. Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for what it is.

Review: Fairly good post, I think you could have grouped up some of the sentences to make paragraphs instead of them being so separated, it just makes for odd pacing but nothing serious. As for the actual subject of the post it's nice, the picture is simple but gets the point across, I like the optimism and hope for making the playoffs. Good mentions of the players doing everything possible to help the team make it happen and I like the quote included and the fan support. 7/10
