Warsaw Predators Centreman, Dakota Lamb, is now in his 6th season removed from his draft, and he has enjoyed his career up to this point. This season, he has 16 goals and 41 assists for 57 points, helping the Predators pace the European Conference with a 27-9-5 record. This has almost been par for the course over the last few seasons, with Warsaw being perennial contenders.

However, once again, Lamb has a contract ending at the end of this season. Although he has tested free agency twice, and re-upped with his draft team both times, he knows there is always a slight possibility that a team could swoop in. Nonetheless, that is on the backburner for now as the Preds try to finally take home the VHL's most prestigious award - the Continental Cup.

If this is the last season in Warsaw for Lamb, he has enjoyed an amazing career with the team. After being taken 10th Overall in the S73 VHL Draft, he has potted 155 goals, 245 assist, for 400 points in 329 games. Warsaw is and will continue to be his 2nd home, but there is always a nagging thought in the back of his mind that he misses his parents back home in Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada. He told us that he would not like to make any more comments to the media on his contract status, as all the focus should be on the team, his teammates, and the games ahead.
