HISTORY OF THE VHL AND BEK

 

     Now it’s hard to believe that it was 14 years ago that this whole league was begun, back in the time when Toby Maguire was spider-man, where Beyoncé was at the top of the charts with her song irreplaceable, This is the year where the vhl was born. Now obviously this league didn’t start off quite as successful and big as it is today. So originally in the early days of the vhl there was 8 teams and 56 people taken in the original draft and 24 in the supplemental draft so now obviously not every team was full but they had to have a minimum of 8 teams.

So yes the league started out small but dosent everything currently right now there’s 3 leagues with 16 teams in the vhl, 12 teams in the vhlm, and 6 teams in the newest edition the vhle. Now the league did grow in size of players of course over the last 14 years in fact it pretty well tripled in size now based off of rj’s draft rankings there was a total of 239 people who updated last week(this was the easiest way to tell how many players are in the league)

 

    So now every thing needs that someone who has been there since day 1 and has put there soul into the creation of something special and that is none other than our own Beketov for those who don’t know who that is he’s the guy who runs the whole thing he’s kind of a big deal any who, Bek has been in this league since the day it started to be more percise bek was the 23 member and that’s not In the count of total active today no bek was the 23 memeber I. This league now this league has seen its fair share of people some have been here a while some have been here a short amount of time some have gone and some have returned but no one has been here since day 1 and has never left except for bek that should tell you how much this means to him he loves watching the league grow, seeming what the league has turned into.  Now if you guys don’t know what bek actually does around here we’ll here’s what I know he does all the sims anytime there’s problem Beks there to fix it he is always there to help people, I should know because if it wasn’t for bek I probably would of quit and probably the same with a lot of people he is always willing to help anybody out with any problem he’s help me out my few shares of times. He’s constantly trying to help anybody he can he just wants to see this league succeed and as many people have said this league probably wouldn’t be where it is today without bek. 

 

Now I’m not to good with articles but this is not so much an article but a appreciation post for bek and the vhl and I thought it be a great thing for everybody to comment below their favorite memories about the vhl old recent or new and the same with bek all your favorite memories of him let’s appreciate this man the way he deserves he does great things for us he deserves this

I don’t actually remember, 23 was my guess. I know it was 20 something
