Times have changed in Seattle since we started the magical run that's lasted since S68. 5 cups, 7 finals in 12 seasons is an accomplishments all who were part of should be proud of. Similar to the times, lots has changed in Seattle and I'm very excited for the present and future of this team. We have strong, excited and loyal members in the locker room, lots of nice pieces to build around and a an exceptional group of people working to make things happen. Thank you to everyone who is part of Seattle - in one way or another - and making it a fun, successful experience in the VHL. Captains, continue to lead the way for the Bears! I am excited to see what you guys can bring here next!

It's a great honor to be the new captain of The Bears. As a captain, I will try to lead by example. I want to help Seattle achieve great things! Also, I would like to take this opportunity to remind the younger players that agents and general managers are the real hairy beasts. Ask for the prime in dollars and minutes. Like they say in commercials - because you are worth it.
