Moderator MubbleFubbles 1,290 Posted November 8, 2021 Moderator Share Posted November 8, 2021 Not to be confused with The Board Game Clue Junior Review - With Skates On There's incredibly few instances of someone being able to enter a new field already regarded as "Legendary" and "A Master of Its Craft" but that’s exactly the high praise that The Board Game Clue With Skates On is receiving heading into its formative VHLM season, it just isn’t for anything to do with its upcoming, potentially disastrous hockey career. The Board Game Clue With Skates On doesn’t like to share many details about its history because it is a board game attached to the top of a pair of ice skates, but we did some digging and found out the history behind the object that is absolutely unprepared to set the VHL by storm. It’s unclear as to how old this version of Clue that has skates on is, but the game itself was invented in war-time Britain, which means it is getting on for nearly 80 years old! However, there’s no doubt this version of Clue that has skates on is a much more recent version, given that this version is one not completely crumbling to pieces and two is adorned with the current Hasbro logo, meaning it has been made within the last twelve years. The skates it is attached to though are Bauer Vapor Hyperlites. Why such expensive skates have been attached to a board game is anyone’s guess but the fact of the matter is making up for its lack of feet with some state of the art footgear. The Board Game Clue With Skates On set its non-existent feet on the ice for the first time just thirty minutes ago and many were amazed at how calm and composed it looked as it glid (glided? glode? I don't know...) towards center ice for the face-off, stick hastily attached on its side by the event planners. However, just seconds in, it became clear that The Board Game Clue With Skates On has a lot of work to do if it has any plans of sticking around in the minor leagues, let alone compete at a major level, although it doesn’t actually have any plans because it is a board game with skates attached to it. It goes without saying that any minor league GM looking at The Board Game Clue With Skates On as a potential pick in the draft is taking one hell of a big risk. LorenVags 0
It's fascinating how it combines classic gameplay with a twist of innovation. The incorporation of ice skates adds an unexpected element of excitement. I wonder if there are any special rules or challenges that come with playing a board game on skates! Speaking of classic games, have you ever tried playing Spades? It's a timeless card game that offers hours of strategic fun.
