This is basically my view as well. We are in a weird spot where we haven't had a full rotation to the point where we know what it will look like after we have full draft overlap. Same with the VHL proper. They basically lost the bottom end of their pipeline for 2 seasons. They are kinda stuck just waiting for them to filter up through the E. Once we have gone a few more seasons we'll have rolling draft classes through the E to the point that gap no longer exists in the same way. At least that's the hope.

The timezone will be very interesting. But I'd listen to it. But I also listen to almost all the VHL podcasts. So that's not really saying much.

 

1) Defenseman obviously. Or another goalie, if you really feel like it.

2) Las Vegas, because then you can confuse nurx even more, by being on the same team as yourself! Also I'm pretty sure they'd respect your "please don't play me" request.

3) I don't see why not. Just a bit apprehensive that you'll put Physical to 5 and make us all just glass people on repeat.

Nice to hear you listened to the podcast! I would say that I follow cricket but not avidly, like if there's a big game or series we've got a chance of winning (e.g. that insane Cricket World Cup Final a couple of years ago that we won or the 05 Ashes) then I'll watch it, but not to the degree of say football (do Aussies call it soccer as well since footy is Aussie Rules I think?) where I'll sit there and watch even if we're getting absolutely humiliated. But yes, that Ashes series was rather embarrassing! 

 

1. I'd say forward based on the fact that you've been that for the least amount of time (I think Sundqvist was drafted as a forward, but moved to defenseman early on right?), you could maybe even try your "Win every face-off" build you were talking about on an older podcast!

2. To use the old Jose Mourinho line "If I speak, I am in trouble".
