If it wasn't for Ben we would have been out against USA in the Semi-Finals. @Vkobe-v's team put up a great fight and our shot totals were neck and neck. In the end a massive performance in net was what took us to the finals, where @Ben put on the style with a dominant performance to make a close game look anything but close on the scoresheet.

 

Most Valuable Player named James Teekirque

You could probably guess who this award belongs to based off of its name. But then again, maybe it was named based on who it was given to? Chicken or the Egg, really. With a 5 point performance in the final against Asia. Our "A" decided it was time to just show the league how it's done. Incredible performance all tournament for Teekirque, but with the finals game being the cherry on top that made this a done deal.

 

As much as I want to come up with more meme awards, I'll just end the article by saying that I had a great time in the LR with you all. I was really happy to be able to help get a gold for you, but especially the players who were in their last year of eligibility. I hope you enjoyed your time with the team, and your fancy new medal. Special shoutouts to @Masu Chan @Rhynex Entertainment @Mongoose87 @Jack Feriancek for forum content and keeping me company in the LR the most, really thanks to everyone who joined and in some way, shape or form engaged with the tournament. But you four stood out to me as being the most active in the community, and I'm thankful for that.
