Seattle was 5 points back from Moscow going into this game with 2 games in hand. In net was a battle between Oskar Lindbergh and Em Em Flex. Flex coming in with an incredible 46-12-2 record and Lindbergh is not far behind with a 32-21-3 record. Seattle got off to a hot start in the first with 2 goals from Sigard Petrenko (25) and Sirsvaldis Miglaskems (11). The shot totals were close in the first with Seattle outshooting Toronto 15-12 in that frame. In the 2nd period, Seattle kept the offense going with goals from AJ Williams (45) and Sigard Petrenko’s second goal of the game (26). Shots were lopsided for Seattle 22-6 in that frame. The shutout bid was rejected by Toronto in the 3rd though as Weenuk Warrior (7) got one past Em Em Flex on the PowerPlay. Toronto tried everything in the 3rd to solve Flex but was unable to. They outshot Seattle 10-5 but falls to Seattle 4-1. Seattle now moves to 98 points with 1 game in hand against Moscow. Seattle’s next opponent is going to be a battle for first against Moscow on the road.
