The rebuild is fully over now, and the Calgary Wranglers (who just seasons ago had nothing, no picks no players, a fully empty war chest) are built. It might not be prime S23 Calgary or anything, but this team is on the up and up.

First, let's start from the back. Martin Brookside has been a shit goalie, as have all of the players from the diamond_ace agency, but he's at about 600 TPE now and really should stop being shit this season.

The biggest reason Brookside should finally stop being shit is that he now has four quality defensemen in front of him. Tony Stark and Edwin Encarnacion were here last season, but they can't do everything on their own, so Godavari Yumalatopinto returns to the Wrang, and Sami Kravinen rounds out the group. It's good to have some depth on the team, especially with Encarnacion doubling as the enforcer and giving the team a vital source of PIMs.

Up top we have Calgary wonder man, Travis Boychuk. This guy has been the face of the rebuild the whole way and was the biggest steal of his draft. Giygas, a good veteran center, will be along for the ride in his final season and looks to play a vital role for the team, as does Thomas Landry in his farewell tour. The up and comers, Lukas Nykvist and Andrew Niklas Erikson, will build into the team and develop into just the players needed to replace Giygas and Landry. This leaves the team with five forwards, four defensemen, and two million in cap space - will we see something soon?

In the pipeline are MF Percy Miller, Marcus Hurley, Superbman, Sepp Reiter, and Chase White. Miller is the nearest to VHL ready of these, but will continue to season his skills in the VHLM. The team hopes to have him come up next season to replace one of the retirees, but his progress will not be rushed and if he isn't ready, he will be able to stay down yet again. Marcus Hurley has been a quick riser and may also end up in the VHL next season if he keeps it up, and the same was true for Superbman a few weeks back although he's slowed considerably.

Reiter and White are two lottery ticket type selections, but Reiter has been in contact with the team since the draft and looks to have some sort of promise going forward. The same can't be said for White.
