After having failed the last 3 seasons to get by Davos in the European Conference Finals, it seems like this year might be their shot. Both teams that they have been competing against the past two seasons, HC Davos Dynamo and Vasteras Iron Eagles, have entered rebuilds while Riga looks to compete still. Budding from behind are the Cologne Express and the Helsinki Titans who have both made moves this off-season and may pose a threat to the Reign. Although still young in development, these two teams have lots to prove and the Riga Reign feel they can be the ones to final make the show this year from the European Conference and want to get the core that has been together awhile the cup that they deserve.
