Dragons It didn't take long for one of these two teams to assert their will and race out to a big lead. In the first period, the D.C. Dragons scored a pair of quick goals to give them a 2-0 lead, before Calgary got one back to make the score 2-1. D.C. wasn't finished however, as Tui Sova netted the third goal for the Dragons in the opening period which gave D.C. an ultimately unsurmountable lead. The fireworks were mostly over after that, as neither team managed a goal in the second period and the third only saw Calgary find the back of the net once.
