In Praise of Sogaard

I find it increasingly difficult to write these .com pieces. We've had a rough season in Toronto and I kind of want to write about our improvement in the second half, but the amount of research that would go into that far exceeds the 150 words / 2 TPE I'd get for my effort. Maybe I'll just sing the praises of @Brandon's player, Tomas Sogaard, who is 4th in league scoring with 104 fewer TPE than the third place Zach Kisslinger. Kisslinger also has the benefit of playing with Brendan Marner in Warsaw, and Marner is the league's top scorer [and incidentally has 400 more TPE than Sogaard]. Sogaard is also second in goals, trailing only Nico Pearce, who has 460 more TPE. That's a damn impressive stat line for Sogaard, especially when adding in the fact that Moscow's second leading scorer, defenseman Hard Markinson, trails him by 13 points, and the second leading forward on the team trails by 16. Sogaard has definitely set himself apart this season.
