In the North American Conference, it's pretty established who the playoff teams will be as we enter the final week of the regular season. The Toronto Legion and D.C. Dragons are eliminated, with the New York Americans in need of a strong finish and some help to extend their season. However, looking at the European Conference, the Helsinki Titans are eliminated thanks to having the worst record in the league, and... that's it. The remaining seven European Conference teams are not only alive, but all actively in the hunt for the playoffs.

The Moscow Menace are pretty secure with 85 points, while the HC Davos Dynamo are in a good position with 80 points, but by no means safe. The Riga Reign are holding onto third place for now with 76 points, with the Malmo Nighthawks and London United holding the final two spots with 74 points each. That leads the Warsaw Predators and the defending EU Champion Prague Phantoms on the outside looking in with 72 points. Warsaw does have an advantage in that they have a game in hand over the rest of the conference, but no matter how you look at it, two very good teams are not going to make the playoffs that would, in my opinion, easily have made it in the North American Conference. Even more interesting is that only the Moscow Menace have a better ROW than the two teams currently on the outside looking in, which could make for some very interesting scenarios as the season wraps up.

The playoffs aren't quite here yet, but if you're in the European Conference, they might as well have. One misstep could be enough to keep a team capable of competing for the Continental Cup home this season.
