WJC: Asia Takeover Just Beginning

HONG KONG - Despite a poorer than desired start for Team Asia players at the S89 World Junior Championship, spirits and morale are still incredibly high on the Asian side. They've known for as long as any of the fans alive can remember that Asia has never been a superpower in these tournaments like Canada, USA or Europe, but they always try and play the fierce, strong, underdog and we think they've done a great job at once again doing that. They might not be the highest ranked team at the moment in the standings, but they are the team right now that's ranked first for "who makes the most noise" and "who is bringing the thunder" on hoginforumz.com reviews. 

 

Big changes have been made to the line ups heading into the next group of simulations. Key movements on their even strength and power play units will hopefully stir up some chemistry to get things moving along a little more successfully for the Asian offensive units. @Will3 and @Daniel Janser co-lead the way for points for the team with 4 in the 5 games played so far. Goalies seem to be pretty hot at the moment and are definitely doing all that they can to hold Canada into it. Pre-tournament projected starter Ryan Artyomov @Enorama has played strong in the games that they've started even though their 1-2-0 and 3.02 GAA may say otherwise. .927SV% and a hard task at hand mixed with the other two shows how strong they're holding things together for the team. Then you have WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW @rory, who is surely giving the Asian management squad another option if things go South with Artyomov.
