STZ 5,286 Posted April 12 Share Posted April 12 Overview: To commemorate the 40th Anniversary of New York bringing home a Continental Cup, the VHL has released this rebrand for the team. While the shield and stripes stay the same, there is a team name change and a few minor tweaks to the logo itself. We have changed the "NY" part of the logo to the full city name. We have also added the new team name onto the shield itself. The plan is to change the team name every ten seasons; So in ten seasons we will be the NY 63's, then NY 73's, NY 83s etc. etc. until the end of time. If the NY franchise ever do win another cup, we will be renaming ourselves the New York Cursebreakers and each team member will be given a 10ft gold statue right beside Lady Liberty herself.
