Canada vs Western Europe

 

A tight battle between two solid teams. The first two periods were fairly even. Canada came into the game with more energy and hunger as they had 13 shots to Western Europe's 7.  Then something happened and Western Europe took the driver's seat, in the last two periods Canada managed to get only 10 shots, but despite Western Europe having 20 shots in the second and third periods it was Canada who scored the only goal of the game when Callahan made it 1-0 when 7 minutes of the third period was played.  The game ended 1-0. Some could say Canada was lucky to continue their tournament, but even in tournament hockey, one goal is enough to win the game.
