The VHL Draft has come and gone, and I find myself on the D.C. Dragons. I love the Dragons' management team and am super excited to have the opportunity to work with them. The roster clearly needs work, but this is a duo I trust to get it done, and get it done right.

After some discussions with General Manager FrostBeard, Shevchenko has already received and signed his professional contract, a 3 year deal. It was also decided at that time that Shevchenko would have "every opportunity" to make the Dragons' roster out of training camp, and anonymous sources have said that the young Ukrainian is already significantly stronger than he was when he last pulled on a Mississauga Hounds sweater, a testament to his dedication to making the most out of his career.

I guess this is my narrative way of saying that I'm bypassing the VHLE this time around. So take note, VHLE GMs, because I'm not going there. I'm going to be passing the TPE cap very soon anyway, so I can't imagine I'm high on anyone's list at this point. Maybe my next player will cap out as a VHLE career player, but for this go around, I will wish The E bon chance, and adieu.
