Alex 3,198 Posted September 22 Share Posted September 22 Coming up to the draft with Deadpanda, it’s a bit different than previous drafts as I really don’t know what I want to do career wise. With both my previous players I did set out with trying to stick it out with staying with one team, but for one reason or another that never happened. My first player just got buried on a very strong Calgary team, and McFleury was just the perfect 2nd defensemen for Davos right in the middle of our cup window (if you ignore Davos winning the cup that season @hedgehog337 fleeced me). But I do want to take a page out of @FrostBeard’s book and treat Deadpanda as a character, personality wise I think that they are very self involved and really just don’t care about other people. So, with that being said here’s a bit about Deadpanda and their thoughts on the draft process: 1. Deadpanda will only sign a contract for a team IF they receive an interview from the GM that isn’t just a copy/paste. 2. When they make it to the VHL they aren’t a backup goalie (unless they receive a considerable bonus to make it worth their time). 3. They are really enjoying their time in North America and would prefer to stay there but are flexible on that dependent on the interview. 4.
