4. What are your expectations for your player this WJC?

 

5. 5-0 start so far. Probably unsustainable, even though we'd like to think different. How many of the remaining 3 round robin games do you expect us to win?

1. Give me a quick breakdown of your player: their name, what position they play, and what are their biggest strengths.

- Drosmis Sarkanis, a young Latvian talent playing on the right wing that uses his defensive understanding to reverse engineers it into understanding the attack opportunities!

 

2. Do you already have a WJC medal in your collection, whether with your current player or a previous one?

- No I have not, but looking forward to get one!

 

3. What do you think about the team? How confident are you in the group?

- I think our team is strong, Europe always have been strong, so Im happy as a team player, as an individual player, not so much!

 

4. What are your expectations for your player this WJC?

- I would like to have at least point per game, but hard to do that when you're a 3rd liner.

 

5. 5-0 start so far. Probably unsustainable, even though we'd like to think different. How many of the remaining 3 round robin games do you expect us to win?

- 60% of them

 

6. What team are you going to play for next season?

- Saskatoon baby!

1. Hey, I'm Steve French, I played wing in the VHLE and managed to do pretty well. I have a knack for scoring goals and I have plans to score some more for team Europe. 

 

2. Well I already won gold with Europe in S93, but was medal-less in 94 so I hope we get a chance to redeem ourselves here. 

 

3. I'm pretty confident that we'll do well and I will guarantee we're going to get a medal this year. We're real solid.

 

4. I just want to be a good leader, this is my 3rd tournament and probably my last and I want to try and be an impact player for my team.

 

5. I'm not too sure but I'd like to win all of them if possible.

 

6. I'm not too sure I keep getting traded. But for now I'm part of the London United organisation.

Alphonse Desjardins, Defense, got good defensive vision with good puck skills.

 

2. Do you already have a WJC medal in your collection, whether with your current player or a previous one?

That's a good question! I think so, but really not sure.

 

3. What do you think about the team? How confident are you in the group?

Seems really good, and after seeing the results, a silver medal is really good!

 

4. What are your expectations for your player this WJC?

Being a defensive force and will try to help the team on the offense. I think I did a good job in this tournament!

 

5. 5-0 start so far. Probably unsustainable, even though we'd like to think different. How many of the remaining 3 round robin games do you expect us to win?

Almost all of them! Only USA can defeat us, but that was a good tournament for Europe!

 

6. What team are you going to play for next season?

Davos! I've enjoyed my time there with my last player and got drafted there so will be on the defensive squad next season.
