LucyXpher 1,409 Posted November 7 Share Posted November 7 (edited) When I started my VHL journey, I was in awe of those players at the top of the league with over 1000 TPE. Crossing that milestone is the culmination of the last 10 months-- to the day-- of diligently stacking away points, even 1 TPE at a time. And while life has thrown all kinds of craziness at me these past 10 months, I've enjoyed every minute I've spent working at this sim hockey thing-- slowly, but surely, building up my player and getting to know the great people of this community. So thanks to everyone who has encouraged me and helped me along to this point, and everyone who has made the first 1000 TPE of my VHL journey such an amazing experience! I owe a special thanks to my first GM @AJW for not quitting on me when I didn't join the discord at the first time of asking. I honestly may not have stuck with VHL if it wasn't for his persistence and encouragement in those first few days after I created my player. AJ played a huge role in making my first VHL experience a positive one and that's really stuck with me ever since. And there's so many others who I've gotten to know and chatted with. There really are some amazing people in this community who are willing to take the time to get to know you and help you along, and it's been well worth my free time to spend it with all of you! It's members like yourself that keep the VHL a place worth joining. It's nice to see someone putting in the effort and trying to make this an even better, more interesting place! Thank you so much You are definitely one of those people that inspired me a lot along the way and your player was one of the first that stood out to me at the top of the league when I joined.
