That's why you cap off the TPE and have each player created in the "style" of their actual player.

This can be a fun event for bragging rights.  100% accuracy isn't the point.

That would be a little more reasonable but where do we set the cap? Average of the players taking part maybe? The other thing is, if we did all-time players, who creates for the ones no longer with us? For example, Scotty isn’t around to make Campbell if he were to take part. It wouldn’t be hard to create him again but still.

Also, not that he would likely player for either side but Beketov vs. Beketov would be funny :P

These are good questions but merely a matter of making a decision on it and then firing away. None of them are really obstacles.

For the SHL games you could set a slightly higher cap, but give the VHL players a bump in the extra stats that they don't have normally.  Remember, the idea behind this isn't to "actually" determine which set of players is better (they are in different leagues, so it's not possible), but to create a fun event where bragging rights and trashtalk could happen!

I'm not trying to stop discussion, but Aim-11 deserves a grade!

Content: 3/3

This is amazing. That is all.
One suggestion though - instead of 4 SHL, 4 VHL in a row, I proposed 2-2 sets.  That way, if the "home ice" sets one team up for a serious advantage, they don't just need to fluke game 5 to win.  Plus... even if it is horribly one sided on either "ice" we still get more games, and who doesn't want more games?

Grammar: 2/2 I didn't really find anything

Universe didn't need to be capitalized, but it made sense in context?

Appearance: 1/1

To the point and it worked.

Overall: 6/6

The actual attribute difference between the two leagues, regardless of TPE totals, isn't huge. The update scale here is a lot easier to cap out 99s, but the way the sims work with the builds is the bigger issue. If members of both sites take this as what it is, a friendly competition between the two big leagues in sim hockey with a huge random component in the sim, then it could be a huge success, and possibly mend some bridges.

AIM always has great ideas, and this is another one. It'll most likely go to the backburner but if Sterling and co. can get together with DP and co. and hash out some details it could be something fun to see.
