S97 Trade Deadline & Theme Week

We actually did this ahead of time, go us I guess. 

 

So to start off with, yes Trade Deadline is Thursday, January 23rd at 3pm EST which is a little bit different than usual. As the season was pushed out 3 days from it's usual Wednesday start, the TDL will push from Monday to Thursday to ensure we're consistent on how far into the season it occurs. To accommodate this shift we're moving the S99 Creation Date to Monday, January 27th. This means that anyone wishing to re-create for the S99 draft can do so starting at midnight that day.

Because this slight variation of our season schedule has caused a weird amount of controversy, you all have made our jobs of picking a theme week quite easy this season. 

 

The theme for S97 is:

Since theme week overlaps this TDL, this gives you a unique opportunity to propose which trades will happen, critique the trades that did happen, or maybe write up the ones you wish had happened. You'll have a few days on either side to pursue whichever angle appeals most to you in a Point Task format of your choosing (Media Spot, Graphic/Video, Podcast).

In order to claim the theme week bonus of 6 Uncapped TPE, simply submit your Themed PT (Graphic, Media Spot, or 6-TPE Podcast), and claim it as normal. After claiming the PT portion, you can use the same link, and claim the uncapped portion as follows: Claim Uncapped > Other > Doubles Week. (Note: you do not need to post your link in this thread to claim either portion of TPE). 
 
If you have already submitted a Point Task for this week, or are in the midst of claiming a multi-week Media Spot/Podcast, you may still submit a Theme Week PT this week, and claim the capped portion on the next available week, following your multi-week claim.
 
Also, if you have a single job that pays 6+, you may claim the theme week bonus as long as you complete your duties for the week. If you are in the SBA and have completed their most recent Media Week, you may use that to claim the Uncapped theme week bonus, but a PT must be completed this week in order to claim the Capped portion, whether that is completed here or through Affiliate Welfare.
 
Note: Only players who are S98 or older may claim the theme week bonus.
