    VHL GAME REVIEW 375

        Prague vs Toronto 

Coming into game 375 Prague sits in 12th overall with a 15-30-6 record while Toronto sits at 9th with a record of 30-17-3.

 

1st- Very little action in the first period which saw only 1 shot on goal from Prague. Toronto managed to get 10 shots but went 0/1 on the power play and could not capitalize leaving the period ending 0-0.

 

2nd-  A little over 5 minutes into the second period Toronto's Walter Fitzroy Jr found the back of the net for the first goal of the game with assists coming from Dorji Khan and Wayne Shotzky. Dorji Khan was able to pick up his second point of the night at the 13:58 mark with a goal assisted by Wayne Shotzky and Harry Callahan giving Toronto a 2-0 lead to take into the 3rd.

 

3rd- Another slow period for Prague while being gifted 2 power plays they were only able to manage 7 shots and could not find the back of the net. Toronto was able to out shoot them 13-7 and hang on to their 2 goal lead to win the game 2-0

VHL GAME 394

      Moscow vs Seattle 

Coming into game 394 Moscow is sitting at 2nd with a 36-8-6 record while Seattle is at 8th with a record of 31-18-1

 

1st- Moscow's Tommy Shelby got the game going early scoring a little over a minute into the game being assisted by David Rashford and River Harrington. Both teams went 0/1 on the power play with Moscow outshooting Seattle 13-9 and taking a 1-0 lead into the 2nd period

 

2nd- Seattle was gifted a power play less than a minute into the second period but was unable to capitalize. Halfway through the period Eric White Jr was able to find the net and bring the game to a 1-1 tie. He was assisted by Lazlo Holmes. Seattle out shot Moscow 15-7 and the game headed to the 3rd tied 1-1 

 

3rd- Moscow came out strong and out shot Seattle 19-7. The game stayed tied for a while but late in the period Moscow went on the power play, and at the 17:14 mark of the 3rd Jillian Woods with help from Jarmo Ruutu and Maverick Goncalves  broke the stalemate taking a 2-1 lead. Seattle pulled their goalie but could not find an equalizer and instead gave up an empty net goal which was scored by Jarmo Ruutu. Making the final score 3-1 Moscow.
