I'm just bored in class and had a random though about just how I've been apart of this league for 4 some years now (crazy) I don't think I have hardly ever seen these two teams have much or any success at all during that time. And I know it's ironic coming from me as the Warsaw GM and our past seasons but idc.

Los Angeles Stars:
Man this team I tell you, I know they had that one finals run with @Gustav but I don't think I've seen much and with recent events it just keeps making me laugh how cursed they almost are with luck.

New York:
The first team I ever AGM'd for an was to scared to talk to my GM @birbprops to @STZthey doing good but idk they just come to mind.

Like I said I'm bored and this league needs something to happen so enter the discussion, flame me, do something please

Yeah we were legitimately good for most of Vandelay’s prime. The dumb thing was just that it happened to be all in the regular season.

Good LA was a lot of fun though! It’s a bit sad how it’s gone since, but a lot of cool stuff happened that can’t be taken away.

If we're talking straight mid, feel like NYA is always good enough to make playoffs, but then magically can't get far. Feel like their rosters have been pretty good recently. On the other hand, LA just has been unlucky with retirements and stuff. Also feel like there's a stigma that not many players want to play for them (don't know why).

Most GM’s are bad OR “new” these days tbh, OR, they certainly have a road ahead of them.  There’s zero wrong with that. I was good when I started but I had so much to learn! Nothing compared to what I know now. Most don’t stick around long enough to get good. What’s the average tenure of a GM? 7-10 seasons? Wow. To learn values, the market, relations with GM’s… players.. it takes awhile.. etc. Some guys don’t trade with others because they “don’t like them”. They ghost them and leave them on read. Sure, it hurts the other GM but it also hurts you HEAVILY 😂😅 it hasn’t stopped me from winning cups compared to those GM’s who are ghosting. What’s that say?? I even have had a bunch of GMS in the past to accept the first deal that comes their way even though I’d be willing to offer them more (old DCD GM). When I come to them, they say well I just wanted to accept this because it was right there. That’s not good GMing. It’s lazy. They won’t be successful. I used to dislike @Spartan for some reason. I still would trade with them. They still would trade with me. They’re without a doubt a top 3 GM in the league currently (with frank and Alex in 4th) and 5th place isn’t even close. Business is business. Every single door is open for me no matter what. Seattle >>>>> my ego and my ego = DA BEARZ/SEATTLE… After a while, I gained insane respect for Spartan. What he does for Moscow. He’s incredible. He may not be there yet, but even right now, very few replicate that success. All he needs is time under his belt really to hold that status. He’s better than 99%. We have people turning down incredible deals where I’m like “what the fuck. I’m overpaying” and “I asked multiple other members for trade advice and they’re like “no, you’re heavily overpaying. The other GM is nuts”. “ but what can you do. I’m not gonna further overpay to help a GM that doesn’t know what they’re doing.

I won 1 cup in 20 seasons to start out I think. I had some good teams mixed in with some bad luck, but that’s the facts.. but since those 20 seasons, Seattle has owned the VHL along with few others.. someone just became active again recently and they mentioned they thought things would’ve changed, but they seen Seattle was the champion again. lol..

Stick with it. Stick to the role. I’m not being arrogant or full of myself. I had years of STHS practice before this league but this league is a new beast with how we build players and how teams are etc..  There’s nothing to be full of. Facts are facts. Every GM right now has the potential. Learn. Study. Analyze the shit out of those lines and results you get. The entire regular season is a PRACTICE. Some brag when they win the victory cup and say that’s more impressive but those guys also can never win the continental cup. You put into what you get out of it. I’ve enjoyed every single GM right now in the league. We have an active bunch that cares a lot about the league. After 48 seasons, trust me, you will get tired. I get tired basically every second or third season now. You will get over it. Keep pushing guys. Come on let’s make these GM ranks awesome.
