Rashford Emerges To Give Thoughts on Game 7 (MOS vs. CAL)

Hardly a blast from the past, given it's not even been a full season since he retired, but since he hung up the skates at the end of last season, very little has been heard from David Rashford. "None of your business," Rashford responded when asked about what he has been up to since his retirement. "It's nice to finally be out of the spotlight so I'm not about to spill what I've been doing. Privacy is not a luxury that's afforded to you while you're playing so I'm trying to take advantage of that as much as possible now that I'm away from the game." Turning attention to the ongoing VHL playoffs, Rashford shared his thoughts on the upcoming Game 7 decider between the Moscow Menace and Calgary Wranglers. "Obviously I'm hoping Moscow can win. They have a number of character guys in that locker room and we probably should've won another cup while I was around. Hopefully they can just win tonight and the legends will have two cups under the belt which is a massive achievement. I'm not that close to the guys anymore since I don't want to be a disctraction but I've sent the team a little message showing my support - it's all I can really do at this stage. Rutuu will make sure the guys are prepared, that much I'm sure of."
