Jericho 917
Agents of P.A.J.O.D.C.A.S.T. Kyle Snow was sitting in the VIP box at Madison Square Garden, sipping a beer and watching the last period wind down between the New York Americans and the Cologne express. He sat next to Chris Miller, the current GM of the Americans and Ryan Power, the current GM of the Express. New York managed to hand the Express their first loss of the year, a fact that Power was less enthused about, compared to the other two. Snow was especially excited because his current player, Jax Barnstormer had played quite well against the veteran squad the Express were icing. The three men sat talking about the game for quite some time, watching as the arena cleared out, and then the jovial demeanor was gone and a professionalism washed over the group. Snow and Miller lead Power to what appeared to be a broom closet near the dressing rooms, making sure nobody was watching as they entered. Inside Snow pulled a hook as Miller lifted a handle and a keypad appeared on a wall. Snow entered a code and a retinal scanner was revealed. All three men scanned their eyes and a hidden doorway opened. The three men made their way down a staircase into a hidden room deep below MSG. As they entered the room Kyle Snow spread his arms and said, "Welcome Mr. Power to the P.A.J.O.D.C.A.S.T. base. Chris and I recently got everything up and running." At a circular table in the middle of the room sat all of the men's past players. Daniel Braxton, Wesley Kellinger, Rauno Pajari, Skylar Rift, Michael Angelo, Ryan Sullivan and Miller's current player, Brick Wahl. There were two empty seats, presumably for Barnstormer and Laich who had just played a VHL game. All of the men stood patiently and waited as first Barnstormer and then Laich made their way into the room, hair wet from their respective showers, and took their seats. Snow made his way to the head of the table. "Welcome gentlemen to the secret P.A.J.O.D.C.A.S.T. base. We've recently mobilized all of our current and retired players for a secret PMC unit dedicated to assisting S.H.I.E.L.D." Braxton stood and asked "What about Thaddeus Humbert and Benjamin Dupont?" "They haven't been in our system for long enough to grant security clearance for this project," Miller replied. "So what are we doing here?" Pajari asked. Power took over at that point, "We've recently been made aware of a threat to the nation, a threat that S.H.I.E.L.D. cannot hope to contain. A race of aliens have made plans to invade and we're needed to help keep the Earth safe. We'll be coordinating with Director Coulson for the foreseeable future, and you'll be given your orders directly from your agent." "This team will have different levels of clearance. Your access to information will be given based on which level you have. Snow, Miller and I will have 'A' clearance, access to everything. Braxton, you and Pajari will be granted 'B' clearance, access to all information for any mission you're on or involved in. Angelo, Sullivan, Rift and Kellinger will be granted 'C' clearance, access to mission details but with sensitive details omitted. Barnstormer, Laich and Wahl are to be given 'D' clearance, information is restricted to a need to know basis only." "That's all well and good, but what the fuck does P.A.J.O.D.C.A.S.T. stand for?" Kellinger asked. Snow turned to the professional Boom-designed logo on the wall, "Players Activating Justice Outside the Direction of Controlled Allocated Strong Temperament". To be continued.... Sixersfan594 247
Content: 3/3 - Although it isn't my style of article, it was nice and interesting. I liked how you incorporated the former players.Grammar: 2/2 - Solid -- as per usual, some syntax that could be changed, but that is really nitpicking. Appearance: 1/1 - It's not terrible...Overall: 6/6 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/19965-claimedagents-of-pajodcast-final-66/#findComment-216929 Share on other sites
