Part 2: The Drama of Davidson is Shared

From the superstars of the WWE, to the MLB and the NHL draft. Essentially every member who has gone through a draft has had its share of drama. Sure fans of WWE know it is written drama but it is still drama in of it self. That drama is what makes many people watch what that company broadcast week in, and week out. Baseball has its weird rules and so does hockey. That's the fun of it all. At the end of the day. This is all drama to give these organizations attention to give them a fan base to get people to become addicted to their product so they keep coming back for more. WWE wouldn't run over a 365 day a year episodic series. MLB wouldn't have a 162 game season with a bunch of draft rules and player rights that are as wonky as can be. The NHL likewise wouldn't have a lottery and broadcast for hours on end which team is going to win the lottery that a essentially 10 minutes of work (mathematics) would spew out days of drama for the end results.

Alexander Davidson went through his own drama when getting here and that's where he had his fun and that is why this piece is getting its own section in this own mini series. Not to dig up old dirt on the parties affected by the results of actions but because the tell-all story is worth while to show the transformation you will see in part three compared to the events in part two. For me to do that I will give some background information to begin with so you can understand. Personally, I suffer through migraines and they can get troublesome when months without proper treatment can become god awful and things get extra annoying you don't want to bother dealing with things that drive you nuts. Confusion and weirdness is the biggest thing at play.So in advance I apologize for the long long article but I rather do this as a 3 part story then drag it on for weeks as it gets to the story easily.

So, at the beginning of the season thinking everything was good playing 2nd line forward (okay no big deal rookie playing 2nd/3rd line no big deal) some power play time and boom. I'm quite happy. Time goes on and my migraines kick in so I stop coming on as active as I could be by doing bare minimum work +3 tpe a week would be fine to at least help the team.. right? A couple weeks of that coming by I discovered I wasn't being used. I figured what's going on, I see no trades and nothing. No explanation so I asked what's my role here only to get a wonderful answer of "Earn more TPE and we'll see about using you."

Naturally after I flipped out thinking what the hell. I'm here and you will see about letting me play. I may as well publicly declare my interest in a trade and shame my manager while to boot. Only to learn there was a trade in the works for weeks and that the only concern was "how much can we milk out was the million dollar question." How does someone go from undesired asset to let's milk everything out of this asset as we can. This simply confuses me and I am glad there is a new opportunity as for me it was just weirdness and being told "not good enough just made me want to rip apart the GM at the time which could have been fun but not something I need to do to make myself happy as telling this story does not bring me joy. Just me telling my story as I promised it was different.

After a bunch of people calmed me down and assured me things would be different as I explained to them my adventure through the league things are now looking up for Alexander Davidson as we will discuss in part three will discuss the rapid turn around and what appears to be new found success for Davidson for essentially being shelved for practically 5-7 minutes a game.

Dammit! I wish I had read this before doing a OneX Podcast on you! It would have been a very interesting thing to talk about.

(Though I do realize you just posted this - but still!)

Hope everything all hunky-dory now. Sorry you had to go through that tough time. If you ever need anything. I'm here for ya

Content: 3/3 - Solid write-up. I enjoyed the read and am glad you're back to being active. Too bad about those migraines. I actually get migraines as well.

Grammar: 1.75/2 - Some mistakes here. I don't want to dock since this is basically a venting article, but it's the rules.

"the NHL draft. Essentially every" - NHL draft, essentially every (doesn't need a new sentence)

"in of it self" - itself

"At the end of the day. This is all drama" - of the day, this is all drama (doesn't need a new sentence)

"while to boot. Only to learn" - while to boot, only to learn

""how much can we milk out was the million dollar question."" - "How much can we milk out?" was the million dollar question.

"out of this asset as we can." - as we can? (Sentence starts with 'how', so it's a question)

""not good enough just made me" - "not good enough" just made me

"as we will discuss in part three will discuss the rapid turn around" - as we will discuss in Part 3, the rapid turn around

Appearance: 0.5/1 - There should be at least a picture involved, as asked in the rubric.

Overall: 5.25/6

oh shit.... I forgot to add this

tumblr_m3z55uZJuF1qh59n0o1_500.gif

can I add this and a little extra words :P to explain the add of this lol

I would say to contact your friendly, neighborhood Commissioner to ask that question.

Overview 3/3 - A classical Smitty rant haha, I think after getting used to the site, it's fine, I remember even the old VHL site had given me a hard time, but it's something you get used to. Remember when you first went to the SHL how much you bitched about organization? Also, I didn't know that story about you not getting playing time.

Grammar 1.75/2 - Pretty much spot on the thing is that it's a rant, so it is kind of hard to grade the grammar.

Hockey. That's = Hockey, that's

Appearance 0.75/1 - sorry smitty, need a picture or some coloring in my opinion.

Final: 5.5/6

Final TPE Total: 5
