sterling 1,997 Posted September 11, 2015 Share Posted September 11, 2015 The elder brother of recent first overall selection Phil Hamilton has arrived on the VHL scene just in time for the start of S45. Jeff Hamilton was quickly scooped up by the Bern Royals and is expected to play a large part in what may be one of the VHLM's top teams this season. The fast moving, offensive defenseman plays with less of and edge than his younger brother, but he is expected to be one of the best puck moving defenseman to hit the VHL in many years. Hamilton's NHL aspirations were cut short this off-season and he's joined the VHL in an effort to gain more attention before trying the NHL again down the road. "I'm excited to be here after hearing word from Phil to come to the VHL. If he can go first overall, then I think I should be set to go first overall too. After all, I'm the more skilled sibling and more handsome too," Hamilton said after practice yesterday.
