After a minor clerical error was sorted out, Pete Stockton officially became a member of the Brampton Blades in time for Season 46 of VHLM action (actually, season 45, but whatever, fuck you).

Stockton spent some time during the offseason working on his skating, but VHLM rules prevent him from improving any further during his time in the league. He should show some force when it comes to scoring goals, or he should at least be on top of the league's attempted shot list.

The Blades feature a pretty strong roster for the VHLM, but Stockton is likely the only future VHL mainstay on the team at the moment. Fellow Toronto Legion Draftee Saul Hackett should be a major contributor for Brampton, as should former top Bears prospect Maxime Deschamps. After an extended round of success with the Red Wolves last season, Stockton should again see some action in the VHLM playoffs, with a decent chance at another Founder's Cup.

After this season, though, he'll be ready to join a soon-too-be-stacked Toronto roster in the VHL, helping to rebuild the team into a playoff powerhouse.
