The VHL season has come to a close and this means that the draft is right around the corner. With the draft lottery already taking place, our order is now set in stone unless a team decides to make a move prior to sending in their pick. One of the players that could possibly go first overall, Titan Kronos, has not been quiet when discussing what he thinks the Riga Reign should do.

These other guys are nothing more than role players. Riga's roster is pretty bare and they need a player they can build around for the future. I am that guy. I bring everything to the table and can manipulate my game to fit what they want to do for the future. Guys like Digital, Maximoff, and Thor can't do that. They built to their specific current positions, essentially making it that much more difficult if they were to change positions to fit team needs. I can be a wing, I can be a defenseman, hell I could probably even be a goalie if I put my mind to it.

 

Kronos has been self promoting himself since he entered the VHLM last season. While the routine has worn on many, it seems to be working out quite well for the young player as there are reports that RIga definitely has him in consideration for first overall. When asked why going first overall means so much to him, Kronos held nothing back.

I want that weight on my shoulders. A lot of players enter the VHL and they give up before they can really even get started. This isn't a sport I spent my life practicing for so I don't have as much invested as the other guys. No one wants to be a bust and the motivation that would come with going that high would be incredible. I am the best player in this draft despite whatever negatives people try to say about me. I'm new to the sport and I'm outspoken, but I am going to make somebody a lot of money and win them a lot of cups. The expectations I have for myself are much greater than the ones everyone else has. I embrace shit like this.

 

Whenever Kronos hears his name called in the upcoming draft, he will be one of the few players to ever be drafted twice. According to him, Quebec made a mistake.

I was fully ready to be a member of Quebec City before they decided to release my rights. Their GM made a mistake and thought that I was in the drafted, despite speaking with the commish prior and making sure my name wasn't in it. He put all his cards on the table and hoped that he would be able to get me back, but it obviously didn't work out that way. They seem to be going a different direction now and it could work out for them, or blow up in their face like throwing me back did. People knew what kind of talent I was and Quebec should have kept me when they had the chance. No a team likes Riga gets to potentially get me and chance their franchise around over night. If they decide to pas, it'll be Calgary. If they pass too, then Davos. Wherever I go I am going to be an unstoppable fucking force.

 

Kronos also decided to share a little draft day secret.

Whoever draft me, will be in for a show. I've rented a tiger/lion looking thing that looks like Riga's mascot and a horse if Calgary takes me. I'm going to ride it up to shake the commissioner's hand. Still trying to figure out the whole Davos thing, but I probably won't need it. No way I fall that far.
