The Bears lack current all-stars, but give it time, the future is potentially bright in Seattle.

As I'm sure a majority, if not all of those within the VHL community are aware, the Seattle Bears had officially went on a sale run not too long ago and we're actively trading a majority of their

organization. With players like Shawn Muller, Jeff Hamilton, Sandro Clegane and Niels Skovgaard on the move, the Bears lost a huge portion of their fire power and what some would consider "all-stars", or "potential all-stars". With all the deals happening, it didn't give the fans in Seattle too many options to cheer for when the time came for the VHL elite to lace up the skates for the annual all-star game, however, the future is much more bright than a lot of people think. While dealing off the present, the Bears didn't do too bad of a job adding a future to their organization. With players like Bogdan Podarok and AK47 already on the team, their starting grounds for potential elite all-star members was already established and looking good. Now, with the trades rolling in, they look even stronger as the season progresses. With that, let's take a look at the teams potential all-stars and what's to come for the fans in Seattle.

What a back hand pass from Podarok to set up Niels Skovgaard during S49 play.

With Bogdan Podarok, the future is bright and we confidently say that as their is now a common factor in Seattle. Throughout a majority of Podaork's career, he's been led by none other than the current GM of the Bears, GM Blake Campbell. During his entire VHLM junior career, Podarok joined Campbell behind the bench in Bratislava where they claimed 2 cups and also witnessed Podarok claiming the scoring title in his second season. An extremely loyal, hardworking player, Podarok will bring great productivity and success to the Bears organization.

:sea:AK47:sea:

AK47 currently sits 5th in the VHLM for goals scored with 33.

Numerous people have had their doubts on AK47 and a huge reasoning behind that is that his agent is unreliable and tend to fade away from time to time leaving his fans unsatisfied and disappointed. However, AK47 has proved them all wrong so far and it progressively improving and is forming into what could be a very strong player for the Seattle Bears. With strong connections to GM Blake Campbell, Campbell may have the power to turn AK47 into one of the biggest steals of the draft and would look like a genius for trading for him in the process. If AK47 can stay active, we expect him to be a 1st line offensive threat for the Bears.

Another player who some may believe won't reach the potential that others claim he can, Jakab Holik was recently traded for by the Bears, along with a 1st rounder and additional picks, in exchange for goalie Sandro Clegane and Winger Shawn Muller. Since coming to the Bears, his numbers has improved and states he is ready to go through the process in hopes and pursuit of hoisting the cup in a Bears jersey. Holik, in GM Campbell's opinion, is a future elite goalie who will be their #1 guy for seasons and seasons and seasons. Often, he claims that he enjoys Holik's play style and thinks he will one day be a dominant force between the pipes for Seattle. Based off GM Campbell, expect big things, folks.

:sea:Sven Wolf:sea:

I doubt many people are thinking Sven Wolf won't become an all-star, and I'm sure most are thinking that it will likely be sooner rather than later. Wolf is currently 3rd on the VHL Watchmen's roster for points, with 14 goals, 46 assists and 60 points in 54 games played. Remember, this is in his first season. Wolf prides himself on being a play maker, something that is extremely rare in the VHL and is also one of the VHLM's biggest threats when it comes to winning draws. Along with his elite style of play, his rate of development is extremely well as hes currently sitting at 131 with his current updates waiting. 110%, expect Wolf to become an important player for the Bears and VHL.

I think it's safe to say, these 4 players have very good potential to battle it out for all-star spots in the future. Including these guys, the Bears have a couple 1st rounders in the upcoming draft that could very well add some more future all-stars to this list. Time will tell, but it's almost too good to not count your chickens before they hatch. Cheers!

Review: Was not expecting you guys to change focus during the season after the offseason you had. Assumed that no matter what you guys would try to see what happens with your current roster. Love seeing teams change focus though because it makes things interesting. Don't blame you one bit for wanting to build the team in your image. Hope it all works out for you unless you guys are playing Riga of course. From personal experience, anytime you end up with a lot of young guys at the same time, at least half of them end up going inactive. it's why I no longer rebuild as a GM lol
