My VHFL Team

If I'm being honest, in Season 48 I wasn't too bad at this. However I didn't submit a roster for S49 because i was just to lazy however since I'm a TPE whore, I figured I need to get at least one more TPE at the end of the season. But now I hope I will get more than the 1 TPE for joining, I'm gunning for that S50 Crown. Here is the team im going with to do that:

 

Jorma Ruutu - HC Davos Dynamo - 4.5 Million - @jRuutu

 

Jorma Ruutu was a player I switched my picks up after he was traded to the Dynamo. Of course the first roster I picked was .5 over the cap so with his trade from New York to Davos, I figured why not pick a future linemate. Ruutu has 7 goals and 9 assists for 16 points. This is 6 points more than Molholt who was my original pick.

 

Shawn Muller - HC Davos Dynamo - 3.25 Million - @TheLastOlympian07

 

Of course I picked myself. Why wouldn't I? I led the Dynamo in scoring last season with 75 points. I know I'm going to break out sooner or later and I think this is the year. This year I have 11 goals and 8 assists for 19 points in 12 games. Pretty damn good for just a price of 3.25 million. Shrewd pick by picking myself.

 

Tyson Kohler - Cologne Express - 3.25 Million - @Kendrick

 

Kohler is a nice young player who is not very expensive. He plays for the rival Express so I know about him and I know about his player agent who knows how to build a great player so I knew this would be a safe pick and I figured he would break out sooner rather than later and I banked on it being this year. I seem to be right so far as he has scored 11 goals and assisted on 6 goals for 17 points in 12 games. 

 

Black Velvet - Toronto Legion - 3.5 Million - @Higgins

 

Velvet is a great young defender who plays for a very offensive minded team. He also doesn't cost as much as a Phil Hamilton. With 2 goals and 10 points he is kind of letting me down. He wasn;t my first pick though as I went with John Sleeman first but I figured to switch to Toronto as they go for that 3 peat. 

 

Titan Kronos - Riga Reign - 2.5 Million 

 

I first picked Bobby Digital here because he only costed me two million. After switching my roster up I was able to pick up Kronos who is the top dog on the Reign. I figured he would put up more points than Digital. With 3 goals and 9 assists for 12 points he is out scoring Velvet by 2 points and costs a million less. Gotta love these cheap young players. 

 

Dmitri Dadonov - Helsinki Titans - 3 Million

 

I first went with Sandro Clegane but figured Jardy was a scrub and did not think he was worth the 4 million. I thought might as well get Dadonov while he was cheap. So far he is 9-3-0, 2 SO, 1 A and a 0.938 save percentage. Damn fine pick up. 

 

Overall, I think if the team keeps up this sick pace, I will win S50.
