This article is about the current VHLM GM's and their previous reigns...in other words, which VHLM team(s) they were GM'ing before they took their current?

NOTE: I probably didn't name all tenures, because there's a possibilty that these members had different nicknames before!

*Old ass VHLM GM's...*

@BMax, more known as DaTrifecta. Current team - Bern Royals (S51-present)

S36-37, Minot Gladiators. He is a well known sim league veteran, but his first appearance in VHLM GM scene happened only in S36, when the previous GM, Edgar went to Toronto. DT took that team after Edgar finished the rebuild; S36 was a decent season for the Gladiators as they finished first in NA conference, but they fell off short to Yukon in NA finals (5 games). Almost the same thing happened in next season - the difference is that Minot got swept. After that, DT stepped down.

S41-42, Turku Outlaws. His hiatus didn't last long as he took another team that is defunct now. Turku/Kolari/Jonkoping's history is really bad, but Trifecta was close to make it less horrible. But Turku lost Game 7 against Bratislava in EU finals and they once again got nothing. In S42 he started a rebuild, but then commishes cut Turku out and DT went to Bratislava.

S43, Bratislava Watchmen. Bratislava started that season with a bang, but then happened something scandalous. @BigTittySmitty wasn't pleased with the lack of minutes he had and then commishes found out the Watchmen GM was giving lots of playing time to inactives, because they had more TPE. The final of the story was pretty harsh - DT was fired and got replaced by @Jericho for a moment.

@Smarch, current team - Brampton Blades (S49-present)

S26-30, Bern Royals. He took the Swiss team after Zach Manship's 6 season reign. Unfortunately, his Bern was struggling to even make into the finals. His playoff record during that time was sad: 1-12 in three playoff series. First of all, his Bern was the forever second EU team behind Vasteras (S26-27) and then 0-4 from Kolari in S29. His current reign already is more successful - a cup in S50 and we will see how his Brampton is going to perform in next two-three seasons.

@hedgehog337, Bratislava Watchmen (S50-present)

Pretty much everybody knows this is the first time when I took any team. I took Bratislava after @Jala who went inactive during the S49 season. I had no draft picks, so I had to sit behind all teams in my first season. Then I made a try in S51, but got swept by Moscow (R.I.P.) in EU finals. Now my team leads the VHLM league and I hope for the same finish.

@JardyB10, current team - Ottawa Lynx (S46-present)

Minot Gladiators, S16-19. First of all, he's the longest tenured VHLM GM at this moment. Second, Ottawa isn't the first team he managed. Probably the first time the VHLM saw him as a GM was S16. I don't know his level of success in his first two seasons, because the links are dead, but I certainly know his peak happened in S19 when his Minot gained a 5-game victory against Kolari and became the VHLM champions...for the last time in Minot's history. That season also was last for Jardy in the Gladiators team and the next come up happened in S46, when he took his current team and became a champion right away. So he's a two-time VHLM champion as a GM.

@TheLastOlympian07, current team - Oslo Storm (S50-present)

Gothenburg Eagles/Oslo Screaming Seamens, S18-19. Funny fact - this is not the first time when TLO is in charge of Oslo. But before that, he took a Gothenburg from Kaiser Straf and his first season was fine. It could've been more awsome with the cup, but they got swept in finals by Brampton. Then the team relocated to Oslo, but I assume StevenStamkos91 went inactive (like always :ph34r:) as he got replaced by Kristian Carlson in the same S19 season.

Moscow Red Wolves, S44-49. As much as DT, he took a team with a bad history. After TLO, the combination of junior Vasteras and Moscow had only one cup(!!!). His start wasn't easy: he started a rebuild in S44, but he didn't have to wait for the ultimate price too long. In S45, Moscow destroyed Bern and then Brampton (both times in 4 games) and brought a cup to Russia for the first and last time. He was close to repeat a success in S46, but lost the final series to Jardy's Ottawa in 6 games. This was the last good thing that happened to TLO during his Moscow reign - he started a new rebuild in S47, but wasn't been able to finish that. In S49, he got replaced by Asher Donovan.

@ADwyer87, current team, Saskatoon Wild (S47-present)

This is his first and current team and he's the second longest tenured VHLM GM at this moment. He took Sasky from Spencer Flammer (a.k.a. @Ahma) who did all dirty rebuild things. Dwyer's first take wasn't very fortunate - sweep from Yukon in S47 NA semi's + 5-game loss to Ottawa in NA finals season after. Then he spent 2 more seasons at the bottom of the table to bring more picks and his season of fame happened in S51, when he managed to make a full roster and Saskatoon took a win against defensive-minded Moscow in 6 game series to bring a cup for the first time since Reilly's dominance in S24-28 period.

@Streetlight, current team - Yukon Rush (S51 - present)

Bern Royals, S14-16. Damn these dead links, I don't even know when Toledo Scorpions became the Bern Royals. Also, I don't even know how Streetlight's team was performing during his first VHLM GM reign. All I know, is that team didn't became the champions.

Yukon Rush, S31. He had this honor to take a newly created team and he didn't dissapoint. They finished first in NA conference and then just wrecked Minot and Vasteras in playoffs. 2 sweeps, 1 cup - that was S31 Yukon's slogan and what's more impressive that team did it in their inaugural season. After that, Streetlight left Yukon and came back 19 seasons after and already made a contender.

I'm out.
