Goaltender Lennox Moher saved 28 of 30 shots on Sunday, helping secure a 3-2 win

DAVOS, SWITZERLAND (AP) -- The HC Davos Dynamo have improved to 7-1 and are off to maybe the most surprising start in the league. Once thought to be outside contenders, the Dynamo have found themselves firmly planted inside the best group of teams in the league.  The only loss they have thus far this season is against the reigning European champs, the Helsinki Titans.  Their wins include 1 against New York, 2 against Toronto, 2 against Calgary, 2 against Cologne.  While it hasn't been an incredibly tough schedule, Cologne and Toronto figure to be among the best teams in the league while Toronto, Calgary and New York are rebuilding.

Forwards Davey Jones and Matteo Gallo sit in the top three in scoring. Goaltender Lennox Moher has a 92.3 SV, which is good enough for 4th in the league.  The Dynamo defense has been stellar, only allowing 1.86 goals per game.

This team is primed to compete this season.
