Helsinki-Quebec Game Leaves Threencarnacion Frustrated

Recommended Posts

While many in Quebec were celebrating a win over the Helsinki Titans after yesterday’s 4-3 shootout victory over the Finnish team, one member of the Meute franchise was reportedly missing from team activities today after receiving news that he was less than pleased about during the victory. Edwin Threencarnacion, the Meute’s backup goalie, was anticipating being brought into the game with just eight minutes played after starting goalie Apollo Skye had conceded three goals after facing just four shots. In the season’s prior, this would have been Threencarnacion’s cue to enter the game, however he was informed that he would in fact not be brought into the game unless the Titans scored a fourth goal and Skye’s save percentage continued to be below .800%.

While Threencarnacion was happy for the team and Skye for pulling through and winning the game, it seems that his frustrations lie with Quebec management for cutting Threencarnacion’s already minimal playing time without his knowledge and may lead to the player finding a new team in Free Agency after initially stating interest in returning to the team if they wanted him.
