(Top Row, from left: Chico Salmon, Malcom Spud, Anatoli Zhumbayev, Martin Brookside)

(Bottom Row, from left: Jerrick Poole, Niklas Valiq, James Lefevre, Jakub Kjellberg, Felix Leiter)

@Ninetyfourgoalie

Player History

(S40) LW - Jerrick Poole, TPE: 801
(S48) D - Dope Fiend, TPE: 85

As requested by @The TrollfectaNinetyfourgoalie was a prominent member in the S40's thanks to his first [superstar] player, Jerrick Poole. Poole was a big part of the Toronto Legion offense for four seasons from S40-43, and spent 3 seasons in Stockholm after a trade. If I remember correctly, he held a few league jobs and was generally liked as well, so his return would likely be well-received for S57.

@Hybrid1486

Player History

(S7) G - Jeff Hunter: TPE: 139
(S16) G - Alex Stoyanovich: TPE: 499
(S22) D - Clint Guite: TPE: 540
(S28) G - Paolo Sinatra: TPE: 211
(S31) LW - Felix Leiter: TPE: 260
(S36) D - Stelio Kontos: TPE: 46
(S38) G - Brock Waldron: TPE: 762
(S46) RW - Pete Stockton, TPE: 272

Hybrid was always hit or miss in terms of making quality VHL players, striking gold with Waldron, Stoyanovich, and Guite, and missing big with Kontos, Sinatra, and Hunter. Despite this, I remember him as always being a quality member, even if he wasn't around all the time. When active, he definitely brings a very knowledgeable and veteran presence to the league.

@Sandro

Player History

(S4) LW - Fabian Brunnstrom, TPE: 530
(S11) RW - Sandro Desaulniers, TPE: 545
(S18) D - Dante Terragni, TPE: 511
(S25) RW - Gaz , TPE: 538
(S32) C - Jakub Kjellberg, TPE: 770
(S45) LW - Lucas Zhukenov, TPE: 245

As requested by @Kendrick, Sandro Desaulniers was a pivotal VHL member for around 40 seasons before devoting his real-life time to his career in movies. The British Columbian (I think) was very consistent in terms of player development, surpassing 500 TPE with every player besides Lucas Zhukenov, his latest. They weren't superstars, but they were quality players nonetheless. Sandro recently returned to make a post about his irl career, so we know he's still around; I would definitely love to see him back.

@xDParK

Player History

(S25) RW - Aidan Richan, TPE: ???
(S32) LW - Chico Salmon, TPE: 598
(S40) LW - Superbman, TPE: 79
(S44) RW - R Truth, TPE: 105
(S54) D - Ofer, TPE: 30

Aside from Chico Salmon, Park hasn't really had any noteworthy VHL players, but that doesn't mean he wasn't a popular member during his active time. Nearly all members knew of Park, and he was generally well-liked. I'm not sure if he's still active on the SHL or not (SHL was always his primary league), but if he is that would certainly be reassuring.

@Squinty

Player History

(S15) C - Patrick Bergqvist, TPE: 822
(S23) C - Leeroy Jenkins, TPE: 840
(S32) D - Niklas Valiq, TPE: 831

Again, as requested by @Kendrick; Squinty may not have made many players, but the ones he did make certainly were good ones. (Unless I'm forgetting some unknown scrubs) All of his players surpassed 800 TPE, as well as reaching the Hall of Fame with Jenkins. Niklas Valiq, part of the famous Valiq trio, was also extremely accomplished in his career as a part of the Quebec City Meute. Squinty announced his retirement from the VHL a long time ago, but that certainly shouldn't rule out a possible comeback. A return by this Asian would make many VHLers ecstatic.

@philthethrill81

Player History

(S31) D - Malcolm Spud, TPE: 704
(S40) LW - Rami Jakobssen, TPE: 559

While phil wasn't the most famous of VHLers, I certainly think he was a pretty decent member in his time here. He only created two players, Jakobssen and Spud, who were both decently successful in their time; Spud won a cup or two as well I believe. Not much else here, just a quality guy I would like to see return.

@fever95

Player History

(S27) C - Lennart Hartikainen, TPE: 29
(S32) RW - Anatoli Zhumbayev; TPE: 935
(S39) C - Tyson Stokes; TPE: 630
(S47) G - Artom Zhumbayev, TPE: 400

No matter what sim league he was in, fever always had a knack for making superstar players; the VHL was no exception. Stokes and Zhumbayev were household names during their careers; Zhumbayev was a legend in his native Kazakhstan thanks to his game seven cup-winning overtime goal as a Helsinki Titan in S34. I would definitely love to see fever make a return to the VHL as a member of this draft.

@diamond_ace

Player History

(S20) D - Lars Intranquilo, TPE: 956
(S29) D - Clark Marcellin, TPE: 922
(S36) G - Martin Brookside, TPE: 908
(S44) D - Kerkko Hyvärinen, TPE: 422
(S53) C - Vaclav Hrdina, TPE: 34

I probably should have included d_a in part one of this list; I can't believe I forgot about him. I always viewed him as a usually quiet, reserved member who quietly went about his business in the league despite holding some high authoritative positions, such as his long tenure as Calgary Wranglers GM. He hit paydirt on his first three players, with all being very effective VHLers, Hyvarinen wasn't as talented as the aforementioned trio but he still was VHL material. Hrdina, his most recent, is a bust, but that doesn't mean diamond_ace can't make a return.

@Noah!!

Player History

(S10) D - Noah Lefevre; TPE: 509
(S17) RW - Syd Drayson; TPE: 441
(S24) LW - Nikolai Lebedev; TPE: 800
(S32) D - James Lefevre; TPE: 653
(S41) C - Gifford Shock, TPE: 477

Noah is another guy who I can't believe I forgot about the first time around. When active, Noah is arguably one of the best contributors to the site, be it as a moderator or whatever. Probably my favorite thing about Noah though, is his creative use of graphics. Sure we have guys now like boubabi, Bushito, Mr. Baller, etc., but Noah's style was just different. He had almost an obscure cartoon style with his gfx that I just loved. I definitely miss Noah, as well as his crew of Damien and diamond_ace; if all three members came back to full activity, or even just one, I would be very happy.

Needs more @McNeil :P though I often feel like I'm the only one that misses that MoFo

REVIEW;

You've been on fire with your media spot topics recently. We have seen some older members returning recently some hopefully some of these guys do as well. I didn't realize @Ninetyfourgoalie didn't follow up his success with Poole with a 2nd player. For some reason, I always thought of him as a more long-term member than he was.
