NotAVHLM-GM 1,858
Not Done In Davos The past season the HC Davos Dynamo was able to push the Quebec City Meute to seven games into the final. It was all but a silent season for the franchise who saw their General Manager disappear in an alien abduction throughout the season, despite making it back to earth, the franchise landed under new management as Tyler Owens (Also known as The Burger King) took over. This did not happen without a big change in strategy. The talented team built by his predecessor is rapidly being dismantled and saw pieces like Motherfucker Sharpe and Shawn Gretzky go to Calgary, Takashi Fujimoto his rights were traded to New York, Diana Maxwell and King Lee Snatch moved to Quebec and the newly acquired John Locke moved to Riga together with Rusty Trombone. The one forward remaining on the roster, doesn’t seem to be moving at all. Peter Quill currently is the offense for the HC Davos Dynamo. Pre-draft, he is the only forward left on the roster. While the firesale is going on, Peter Quill had a word with his new manager, letting him know that he should not let him go unless it was an offer that would blow him away. He wanted to go to Davos during the draft and they even traded up to third to ensure this happening. After moving up and grabbing him while there were more talented players available, gave Quill confidence that they wanted him there and he swore loyalty to the franchise. So he is not ready to give this up without a fight. He wants to win a cup with the Dynamo, so even if it might take some years, he is willing to be the face of the franchise. We just hope that Davos can get some more talent around him with the acquired picks because even though he is the offspring of a celestial, he can’t do things on his own. So there we have it, while most players have been moved away to new franchises, Quill is one of the last remaining members of the team that made it to the finals. And he hopes he can be one of the faces who will bring the franchise to their next finals appearances. While he might not be the most active member around the league, he will continue to train and work to help the franchise to another victorious season. The road ahead will be long for the franchise, but the new management tried to ensure this is a road where new talent will join the team over the course of the next seasons. The HC Davos Dynamo is certainly not done and while there might be some rough seasons ahead, they can get back up there, Quill trusts that Tyler Ownes has taken the correct path for this and will continue to support him for as long as he’s wanted on the team. Is this a good thing? Is it a bad thing? I guess it’s a bit of both, but for now Quill is definitely a guardian of the HC Davos Dynamo. TheLastOlympian07 2,388
Review Well your stay as last player in Davos didn't last long good read, still puzzles me when Tyler just had to trade Trombone, but I guess we all want to build a team in our own imagine and not win with someone else's roster but it is what it is. Hope all is good with you Green. We all had some good times in Davos. Great read nothing wrong at all and was well written like all of your articles.
