These will be a weekly article on the top 3 of each position for season 57 and some honorable mentions. The draft class this year looks decent with quite a few recreates but lacks the depth of the last draft. This list does not mean that the players highlighted are draft eligible only that they are currently playing in the VHLM. This week we are going to focus on one of the most important positions Centers. This list is a list based on points or overall stats but it is also a choice of importance to each of the teams as well. The players listed might not be the number one in stats in that position but they might have more hits more shots blocked etc. Now to start our list the first player is.....

  1. Kriztof Mueller Saskatoon Wild :ssk:

Arguably the best player in the VHLM at the moment, Mueller is lighting it up for the Wild. While setting up a year for the ages at only 26 games played, he has a staggering 64 points. The chemistry shown on the Wild's top line is very noticeable when you have a look at the leader boards. As his line mates are in the top 3 of each forward position (will they all make my list?). Some of Mueller's underlying stats are very impressive that most people wouldn't notice when they first look at him. Hes the leader in Penalty Kill minutes in the entire VHLM defense included. Will he be able to keep up the 2 or more points a game pace has yet to be seen but only time will tell. (Team currently is in 2nd place)

2. Longrod Von Danglecoch Ottawa Lynx :ott:

This will most likely be the most surprising player on this list if not in the entire series.

Currently playing on the second line for the Lynx but is currently sitting at 2nd in the center scoring race as well as 5th in total league scoring. For this 4th round and 19th overall pick his production is above and beyond what you would expect from a player from the 4th round. Currently at an almost two point a game pace while playing the least amount of minutes in the top 10 in scoring by far. Some people have been questioning if he should be getting more minutes but unfortunately his work ethic has been questioned by his coach and General Manager Beaviss. If he can keep this pace his General Manager will be more then pleased. (Team currently is in 3rd place) *expect that to change*

3. Jasper Canmore Oslo Storm :osl:

The first overall pick this year sneaks onto the list at number 3. This is not a knock on his playing ability as his team the Oslo Storm are currently sitting in first place in the league. Canmore is sitting at 8th in the league in points but expect him to climb the rankings quickly as he can as he can. All Canmore needs is a could good games and he can skyrocket in the standings from 8th to 4th as the difference between them is only six points. One of the stats that really isn't looking good for him and might be the reason his play of late has been sub par, is the fact that he has taken 123 hits so far this season. That large amount of hits taken can really impact a players ability to score at an impactful rate. If some of his line mates could stop dishing him dangerous passes you could see a jump in scoring from our S57 first overall pick.

(Team currently is in 1st place)

Honorable Mentions

Corey Klopfenstein :ott:

Mike Szatkowski III :veg:

Josh Stronk :ssk:

Well as im starting to write my closing statement I have noticed im sitting at 636 words so im going to try to push this a bit longer by talking about the trade between the Ottawa Lynx and the Las Vegas Ace's.

:ott: Ottawa gives:

Ottawa 1st S58

Ottawa 2nd S58

Ottawa 3rd S58

D - Klaus Baustein

:veg: Vegas Gives:

D - Colton Rayne

C - Vaclav Hrdina

Time to break down the trade.

The General Manager of the Ottawa Lynx @Beaviss was talking to the General Manager of the Las Vegas Ace's @Spade18. Who used the be the Assistant General Manager of the Lynx before he got hired by the Vegas Ace's. While talking, Beaviss talked about making a push for the cup this year as he was extremely disappointed by last years loss in the finals to the Ace's. Knowing that the Ace's where not making a push this year and wanting to grab arguably the best Defenceman in the league from them. While talking about the price of Rayne, Beaviss noticed that Hrdina was quietly having a very solid year playing for Vegas. Being a pass first player Beaviss thought that Hrdina would slot nicely on the 1st line and 3rd line. I'm at 800 words not so im going to stop the next edition of top 3 is Left Wing!

REVIEW:

Longrod Von Danglecoch - lmao what a name. Anyway, I see he slowed down and he's not a TOP 3 center anymore. It also doesn't surprises me that both GM center player are two best ones. And Klop is doing fine, where are you @crutchfield. And look at this Bennington-Mueller duo, that's some Locke-Krīgars shit in the minors.
