Teams are preparing plans for how they are going to attack the league's 58th season, deciding which free agents they will go after, planning trade offers to better their teams, interviewing draftees, and planning their training regiments. When it comes to restricted free agents, of which there have been few in the history of the league, teams are preparing their Qualifying Offers, which must be submitted by the time Free Agency opens, and are usually just a matter of filing with the league an official offer of the league minimum for said player. In Stockholm, there is currently one player heading the route of Restricted Free Agency: Mats Johnsson. Should he decline the team's QO of at least $2,000,000 he will become available for any team to submit an offer-sheet. It is currently unclear if there is any interest among opposing GMs to pursue this route, but Johnsson appears ready to test the waters and bet on himself!
