I think this is a good attempt if this is your first SIG. I like that you made the player sharp compared to the blurred out BG, and the flames coming off parts of his body are cool as well. He would benefit a lot more if he was way more clear and cleaner looking though. Not a fan of fonts layered over the player but that's just my preference. I would have liked more clarity to the white large Knight font so it doesn't mesh with the BG. The smaller black font may need a space between the first, last and VHL name to give it clear reading visually.And maybe move it up and to the left, just above the white font may be more appealing.
