1. Have you been watching the last week of the NHL? Who's your favourite team?

 

-- Buffalo as always, once they're done I focus on the AHL playoffs, their affiliate Rochester has been doing pretty well this season. Hopefully they go all the way!

 

2. Do you have a favourite sports player? Any sport

 

-- My favorite, non-hockey, sports player would have to be either John Daly(golf)  or Pete Weber(bowling), both guys have traits that make them entertaining to watch.

 

3. How did you react to the trade bringing in @Chillybro's player?

 

-- Its always fun to get new players. 

 

4. Did you think the team was going to make any more moves?

 

-- They may I'm not too sure though. I think we've got a good group and I don't recall hearing anyone wanting to move.

 

5. If you could choose a sound to be played in the arena when your player steps on the ice what would it be?

1. Yes! It has been crazy. I didn't think my Islanders would get in, but then we clinched 3rd in the metro! Insane!!!

2. I enjoy watching Jason Belmonte bowl. Just watching how calm and collected he is while under a lot of pressure is inspiring.

3. I think it is great! We need some more firepower and it will work out in our favor.

4. I think my answer would be no with how well the team has been doing. I believe messing up the chemistry would be detrimental.

5.  This is an odd question, but I'd probably go with Mario saying, "Let's a-go!". It'd be a funny thing to hear in a serious game.

6. I've tried to recruit people but my immediate circle isn't into hockey and I don't think they would want to do this type of work every week. Sorry

-- I'm pretty confident we'll do good in this playoff run. We've won 50 games this season 

 

2. How did you feel about your players performance this season?

 

-- 14G 38A and leading the league in PIMs I would say I did way better than last season. 

 

3. Predict who will win the VHLM Founders Cup, who will be the runner up?

 

-- If we don't win, we'll be runner up.
 

4. Have you ever been to any NHL games or any other major sporting event.

 

-- I go to a couple NHL games a year, I do go to AHL games all the time though I have season tickets. 

 

5. Do you have a favourite video game or one you played a lot when you were younger?

 

--Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 that game was awesome back in the day I remember putting hours into that on the GameCube.

 

6. What do you think has been the key to our success this season?

 

-- Goaltending for sure, Hugo Boss coming in crazy this season. 11 Shutouts was a big part of this seasons success for sure.

1. I think if we can keep the ball rolling, we will do well in playoffs. We just have to stay focused.

2. I think my player did alright. Nothing special, unfortunately.

3. I hope we win the Founders Cup. For runner-up, I'd have to say Saskatoon.

4. I have! I just went to a Vegas Golden Knights game back in March. I've been to a few Isles games too.

5. Halo 3. That was my jam every day after school.

6. I think our key to success was staying together as a team. We have a great group of players and just sticking with it really pays off.

We did pretty good during the first round.

I would being first place for most the season was pretty fun.

1. I think I did okay. Nothing spectacular. Hopefully I can change that in the 2nd round.

2. Yes I have. I was rooting for my Islanders, but it wasn't meant to be

3. I'd say it was an enjoyable regular season. It was nice to be apart of the group in the discord. I'd say just waiting for sims in the morning.

4. One thing I'd change would be that my player would be a bigger part of the scoring. My player was very hot and cold.

5. I only use dark mode. This goes for everything I use. If there's an option to switch, I do it.

6. VHL used to and I sorta used it once in a while. I'd say it's not really needed since it's all forum based.

1. I think we did pretty well in the first round. 

 

2. I just watch the game recaps at the while doing cardio gym in the morning. 

 

3. the regular season was fun. That last couple game push before securing a playoff spot is always exciting.

 

4. I would have liked to score more but overall I don't think I'd change anything,

 

5.  Dark mode only.

 

6. I think it would be a good idea but I'm not sure the logistics of getting that up and working as well as the forums do.

1. I honestly loved the season, got myself off the ground, and even scored a hat trick.

1) It was fun! I am proud to say I'm no longer an Ottawa hater. Very close to winning a championship, and was nice to play with some players I'm sure will make a big impact in the VHL!

2) I claimed a decent amount from the last VHL Draft as a Podcast. I've been doing long PTs for those multi-week claims and then just writing about whatever I feel like, and answering Press Conferences for fun!

3) Train, train, train! The VHLE is a tough league and I want to do great in my short stay! Should be at 400 TPE next week so should be able to bank for the season again!

4) I'll be honest the league is in pretty desperate need for people in AGM roles, WJC GM roles, JST GM roles, and feeding into the VHLM, VHLE and VHL as GMs. So many people that have a job have many, myself included, and not everyone should be balancing that much. The GMing part is surprisingly simple. VHLM GMing and JST GMing are a bit time intensive, and really rewards being online a lot, but a little effort goes a long way in the other leagues, there isn't always something to immediately do.

5) I'll be doing a European tour of the VHLE cities just to get a feel for all of them!

1. It's been slow. I've been getting a lot of draft interviews for the E and VHL. So that's fun.

2. I just hope I go somewhere fun. I don't mind where I go.

5. I am an IT specialist for an insurance company. It has it's days.
