A 17 year old from Miramichi New Brunswick weighing in at 180 pounds and standing at 6 feet tall we take a look into the pros and cons of this young players game.

Pros
Skating and Shooting
Scouts have said that this young player is one of the fastest players they have ever seen on the ice his time around a regular ice surface is 12 seconds on the dot. Scouts have said he reaches top speed almost instantly he moves like a bullet. When he reaches top speed that is when he is most dangerous being able to be hit and keep moving and blowing past the defence.
His shot tho not spectacular it is without a doubt one of his strong suits. he cannot pic corners but he always finds and opening and gets the puck in the back of the net, goalies hate him if they make a glove save he skates by and hits the glove.
Leadership
This guy has proven time and time again he can lead a team to victory, all four of his highschool years he lead his team to gold winning 4 times in a row never done before at his school.
He denies the captaincy because he thinks he does not deserve to wear the C saying " I'm no leader i just go out and play hockey." but this attitude allows his teammates to rally behind him.
Defence
A two-way defender has to be good at both offence and defence and he fits into both categories well he can shut down any chance the opposing with little to no struggle. He didn't always play butence but the second he tried it he was unstoppable now looking at his stats over the years youd think he was an offensive defenceman but he considers himself more of a defensive kind of guy that can get the puck out of his end.

Cons
Hand eye
While yes he could bat the puck out of mid-air he isn't someone who could do some fancy dangles he can do the basics like a toe drag or just bank it off the boards but when it comes to windmills or actually dangling the defence hes got a small chance of actually completing the move we've watched him on the rink almost everyday leading up to the draft just working on his hands but honestly it will take him a while to get to where he wants to be.
Screening the goalie
This is a guy that loves to block shots every chance he gets hes jumping in front of the puck but sometimes, he misses and the goalie cannot see the puck no matter how many times hes blocked the puck he always ends up screening his tendy. One of his goalies actually started to hate him for it and a rivalry happend and they ended up losing 4 straight games because they were not on the same page
Discipline
He likes to play dirty lets put it that way..If the goalie covers the puck he will dig and dig until someone shoves him out of there and what does he do? he shoves them back. Some scouts were at one of his highschool games he took on the whole line and not one of his teammates helped him (This actually happend to me) And we went down swinging only getting a 2 minute minor for roughing he'll take a penalty a game but with the right coach it can be worked out of him.

We asked him how he felt being drafted in the 3rd round by the oslo storm and if he was disapointed at all and his reply was "im honestly shocked i was expecting late 5th round im genuinely happy they felt i was good enough to pick and the fact that i was drafted at all is just amazing"
