Obviously the jersey change is the main aspect here so I think a little more attention could have gone into it. Something about the spacing of the letters and the almost glowing look they have just doesn’t feel natural to me. The brightness on the letters is also quite different from the jerseynumber. Matching those may have blended it better. I would say this is a very solid start to a dig but I wish you would have continued developing it because it could have become much more with some extra work.
