SidTheKid87 166 Posted August 25, 2018 Share Posted August 25, 2018 The question heard round the world, what is going on with Sidney Crosby’s stats??? Through 18 games Crosby stays strong on almost all leaderboards he is eligible for. While that is all going great for him there is always a BUT: his plus/minus. At a staggering -21 it is hard to see how any of these stats make sense. He has been playing on the top line of a struggling team but accounting for his points, he has been on the ice for a lot of goals against. After watching him train the past few weeks it has become apparent that he has only been training his defense. So how is his offensive production so high and his defense is so bad? Has he created a new player type? Can the forwards take any notes? These are all relevant questions and we will monitor his progress throughout the season to see if this trend holds. All time, it's not much of a contest. Yeah sadly the Gretz has a lot of the all time taken anyways. One of the things that is annoying about trying to determining numbers for current players is how people value specific skillets versus the others, or even positions. Been seeing a lot of *Top 50 hockey players* lists by the sites that are, let's say, god awful.
