Advantage 2,915
Mikka Pajari - Another Player in a Historical Agency The Devise Agency has been around since the early-to-mid twenties and has been one of the more consistently decorated ones in the time that it has been relevant. With players like Rauno Pajari, Skylar Rift, Logan Laich, Thaddeus Humbert, M.T. Power and Verner Reinholdt, the Devise Agency has been able to consistently sign players that have made a solid to great impact in the Victory Hockey League. However, this agency has consistently not been able to sign that one player that makes the VHL Hall of Fame and becomes one of the major faces of the league. Skylar Rift was certainly their best chance but he retired early and therefore fell just short of what would likely have been a Hall of Fame calibre career. Enter Mikka Pajari, born in Switzerland, and making his VHL Debut this season as a member of the Riga Reign. He was drafted surprisingly low at twenty-second overall in Season Sixty-One, which is already looking like a major steal with how well he has progressed since the draft. Pajari started his professional career in the VHLM for Ottawa in Season Sixty where he recorded 24 points in 70 games and contributed with some aggressive physical play with 79 hits. With the expectation that his second season in the VHLM would be more profitable statistically, he would suit up for the Oslo Storm looking to easily top his previous season’s numbers. Unfortunately for Pajari, he would actually take a step back on an inconsistent Oslo team, recording just 14 points and 60 hits in 72 games. These struggles most certainly led to his low VHL draft position, but while his struggles were clear, many reported many moments of flash but that he just was unable to put it all together. Surprisingly, Pajari would win a spot on the Riga Reign roster with a strong camp and has already topped his previous two season’s numbers but in the VHL. His progress is clear and the flashes are now leading to strong statistical results. Pajari has recorded 30 points and 84 hits in 56 games on the mediocre Riga Reign. While certainly not the flashiest numbers, given his draft position, the previous two season’s and the fact that this is Mikka Pajari’s first year in the VHL, he most certainly will consider this a pretty successful season and one he can build some confidence off of. Pajari projects as a two-way center that can skate incredibly well and has a proficiency in both playmaking and shooting. His faceoff skills are well-developed for how young he is and the release on his shot could set him up to be a thirty-goal. scorer down the road. I see his potential as a high-end second line center who could probably carve out a career as a decent first line center. He will likely never be a line driver but could be a tremendous accessory piece to an excellent goal-scoring winger like Edwin Preencarnacion. If he can continue to develop at the rate he has been, there is a chance that this could be the most successful player in the Devise Player Agency’s history. Fire Tortorella 2,653
I'd make fun of @Devise for only making scrub players but now it seems I only make scrub players too. DollarAndADream 3,357
Review: Pajari! Not an amazing start, but he'll get there. He's on a stacked Riga team though, so there's that. Twinger isn't blowing anyone away himself either!
