Yes, Kallis Kriketers is the worst cup-winning goalie in living memory. Maybe ever to be honest if we rank the first decade of high scoring VHL hockey objectively.

But guess what? We love him. Yes, Kallis Kriketers is the worst cup-winning goalie in living memory. But he's a cup-winning goalie. Rhett DeGrath didn't win a cup. Jakab Holik didn't win a cup. Kallis Kriketers did.

And what does the worst goalie even mean? Was he inactive like Jehovah? Did he retire on his team before the season started and forced to play by commissioner decree like Demetrjusz Dudek?

Ah, the stats. The stats are pretty bad.

Since Season 18, no other cup-winning goalie saved less the 90% of the shots they faced. Of the other 17 seasons, 12 are gone forever, but probably were also above that. But there is Adrian McCreath in Season 4 with a woeful .889! So, yes, Kallis Kriketers is the worst cup-winning goalie in living memory. But he's not the worst cup-winning goalie ever. That's McCreath. And McCreath is in the Hall of Fame so all hope is not lost.

You know who else is in the Hall of Fame? Greg Clegane and Alexander Labatte. There they are.... (maybe ignore the guy in the middle)

So yes, Kallis Kriketers is the worst cup-winning goalie in living memory. Deal with it.

:rig:

Cup at both levels and he's barely into his career - stats or no, I'll take it if I was hedgehog
