While I wouldnt say my enthusiasm for the VHL has slowed down since I joined in August, I know my activity on the forum and discord hasn't been quite what it was before. Mostly its due to work ramping up as it kinda gets colder, trying to finish my garage and plan an engagement and subsequent wedding.

 

I joined the EFL a few months ago as well. The VHL remains my priority number one, especially now that both my players have hit their NCAA cap.

 

With my role as AGM in Las Vegas, I've had the opportunity to work with @Jubo07, as we do our best to steer the Aces to a Founders Cup Championship. In our second year working together, we have high hopes as to what S64 brings. While I'd love to manage a team of my own, I dont think I can give the attention a team would deserve. Getting to GM in the World Cup and World Juniors has been a great alternative though.

 

My own player enters his second season in the VHL. It was disappointing for myself and for the club even if we were starting a rebuild. @Spade18 did another good job in the draft and I think we'll be able to take a big step forward this season. Personally, I'm not sure what I could have done differently to have had a better year for my player. I'll probably just keep throwing tpe at him like crazy until something good happens.

 

The Sponsors Shield tournament just wrapped up. True North Hockey did better than what I think most people thought we would do. Viking was a better team in the final, but we had a great team and will be even better next time around.

 

Even though I'm still fairly new, it's great to see all the new names joining up and even more so when they are great additions to the league.
