Another year, another chance. Perhaps the most exciting tournament in international hockey is starting soon - the World Juniors. Skilled players, high intensity and mistakes, excellent games for everybody to watch and enjoy.  Team Europe has been in middle of some media attention lately, it was reported that multiple players and even the head coach answered ´Canada´ to the question on who is going to win. Shocking and disappointing to see, there are always favorites and teams that just have wider roster and talent pool in general, but publicly coming out and admitting that your team is not going to win, why even show up? Where is the pride, where is the mentality to go out there and surprise everybody? It´s a tournament, not a season. Name of the game is to win the right games.

Some players in the team have the right attitude and are behind their own team right from the start, some have not answered questions like that yet, but we can all just wonder what the mental state of the team is when all the centers, one of the defenders and even the head coach look and sound defeated before even one game is played.

Disgrace,

Carles Puigdemon
Joel Ylonen (Coach)
Mark Gebauer
Paolo Nano
