InstantRockstar 1,243 Posted April 1, 2019 Share Posted April 1, 2019 Most of my VHLcom articles are about myself, but because Theme Week is here, and the topic of discussion has to pertain to the S66 draft, I figured what better way to make all this TPE, then speak on my very own teammate and future stud, Shane Mars. It's hard to make a negative argument for this bright left winger, he's putting up some of the best numbers throughout the league, he's likely going right to the VHL but regardless, he is currently making Minnesota fans really happy. In just fifty-six games, he's achieved 85 points which is almost 2ppg and that in itself is just insane. He sits as the current leader and front-runner to take the top Left Wing spot going into the playoffs in just a little bit, and also sits as a top ten (currently #6) player in the league. If that isn't impressive enough, he also sits 4th ranked for goals (42 total), 4th for PPG (1.35) and a +54. Minnesota is currently the top team in the league just barely having surpassed Halifax after the recent batch of games, and at this pace, we could easily see Mars hit 100 points, and achieve so much more before his minor league career comes to an end. It's been an absolute pleasure having this guy on the squad, and I can only hope we'll rekindle somehow, in the VHL.
