Shawnomir Jagr had around the 5th or 6th most TPE in the draft coming in at 298 at draft time. However, he fell to 14th overall in the draft to the Vancouver Wolves. While he is very happy to play for the Wolves, Jagr can't help but feel a bit upset he fell so far. HHH was going 1st overall and everyone knew that. Shane Mars was expected to go 2nd but didn't so that was interesting as well. From 3rd overall onwards, Jagr was expecting to hear his name get called but it never happened until 14. Jagr will go out to make sure that Seattle, Riga x3, Moscow x3, Davos x2, Malmo and Calgary all go on to regret the decision to pass on Shawnomir.

Vancouver is looking well rounded coming into the season and should be one of the dark horses for the Continental Cup. Here is how the lineup looks.

Jorgen Weyed (492 TPA) - Beau Louth (1007 TPA) - Jake Davis (825 TPA)

Julius Freeman (335 TPA) - Rauno Palo (914 TPA) - Shawnomir Jagr (301 TPA)

Hans Gruber (235 TPA) - Gritty (380 TPA)

Konstantin Muligan (552 TPA) - Marvin Harding (651 TPA)

Jagger Philliefan (439 TPA) - Denver Wolfe (373 TPA)

Roger Sterling (581 TPA)

Joe NIxon (330 TPA)
